Tara, a Loretto alum, holds a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Theatre from Southwest Missouri State University and has taught acting, improv, playwriting, and stage makeup at The Coterie Theatre since 2007. She has also taught theatre for Young Audiences, Community School of the Arts, and her own program, Dramarama, in the Center School District. In addition to teaching at KCA, Tara also works as a professional actor, singer, director, playwright, and producer.

Tara joined KCA in 2015.

Fun Facts: Tara is a bird nerd who loves astronomy and is also fascinated with ocean critters. She serves as co-director and production manager of Project Pride, a theater troupe where LGBTQIA teens and straight/cis allies can tell their stories.
