KCA Admissions Policy

Admissions Criteria: Prospective students are asked to visit KCA and interview with our principal. It is important that both parents and students understand our philosophy. Following the visit, admission is based on a composite evaluation of academic potential, past academic performance, personal goals, attendance records, test data, evidence of personal responsibility (job, community service, past school activities), special needs, interests, talents, and evidence of intellectual curiosity.

Students accepted for admission may be sent an offer to enroll or may be placed on a wait list when enrolling that student would cause one or more required classes to exceed maximum capacity. Variables considered when determining maximum capacity include, but are not limited to, classroom space availability, type of curriculum offered, and needs and abilities of the existing student body.

Nondiscriminatory Policy: KCA admits students of all races, colors, religions, sexual orientations, national and ethnic origins. All are entitled to the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to our students. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sexual orientations, religion, national or ethnic origin in the administration of our educational policies, admissions policy, scholarship and financial aid programs and other school administered program.
